Is purpose self-evident?

We have now, especially given the times we all have been through the last 3 or so years during the COVID-19 pandemic, begun to understood the necessity of purpose in one's life. Yet, people still claim to not know what their individual purpose is. Is this a delusional statement? Is purpose a self-evident concept? JC and B-Mic Roc OD.
