Is corruption worse than oppression?

We tend to view an oppressive relationship solely from the view of those being oppressed. But what effect does oppression have on those doing the oppressing? Is the moral and spiritual corruption of the oppressor perhaps worse than the oppression itself? JC and B-Mic Roc OD.
